According to the latest Sacramento Weather Forecast, today's high is expected to nearly hit triple digits at a sunny 99 degrees with slight winds picking up in the afternoon.
Tonight's forecast remains clear, paving the way for a low around 62 degrees. This pattern of sunny days and clear nights is set to continue throughout the week. Of note, Tuesday's temperature will see a minor drop with a high near 95 degrees. Gusty conditions are possible, as the winds on Tuesday night could include gusts as high as 18 mph.
Midweek weather appears to give local residents some respite from the heat, albeit slight. Wednesday: "Sunny, with a high near 91," as stated by the NWS. The wind will continue to play its part, coming from the south southwest at around 7 mph.
The NWS forecasts persist with the sunny trend into the weekend. Thursday and Friday are expected to remain clear during the day and night, with highs comfortably stationed in the low 90s. Saturday brings a promise of the week's coolest day, with the high dipping slightly to near 89 degrees, while Sunday’s high edges down further to 88.
