To fortify the safety and enjoyment of Sacramento's nightlife, the City's Office of Nighttime Economy and WEAVE are collaborating to deliver "Safe Night Out" training tailored for those working within the hospitality industry, which is slated to occur from 3 to 5 p.m. tomorrow, Sacramento City Express reported.
The training session will welcome staff from bars, restaurants, and other hospitality establishments at 300 Richards Blvd., room 221, where education on identifying and responding to signs of sexual and domestic violence will be shared, and RSVPs are being requested through an email to [email protected] for those planning to attend. WEAVE's program is designed not only to inform but also to certify hospitality staff in the best practices for addressing sexual harassment, assault, domestic violence, and teaching bystander intervention methods crucial for maintaining the well-being of patrons and the security of the establishments.
