Sacramento Police responded on Wednesday to 12th Street and Blues Alley, where they found an adult male with a gunshot wound. Fire personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene, as reported by Hoodline.
The Sacramento County Coroner's Office is withholding the identity of the deceased pending notification of next-of-kin. Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators are continuing to investigate. Officials have not released information about the suspect, motives, or the connection to the crime. Nelson has been arrested, and the case remains active.
