According to the NWS Sacramento weather forecast, today will see conditions with a high reaching near 95 degrees and calm winds shifting southwest in the afternoon providing a slight movement of air during the peak heat the transition to evening is expected to bring clear skies with a low around 64. As the weekend unfolds, temperatures will drop slightly to a comfortable high near 88 tomorrow and an even more agreeable high near 83 by Sunday, with south to southwest winds contributing gentle gusts that may reach up to 18 mph.
Moving into the work week, the pattern of sunny weather continues with Monday's high predicted near 85 degrees followed by a steady climb in temperature throughout the week. Nighttime conditions remain clear and mild, with lows steadily in the high 50s to low 60s, which should offer some cooling after the day's warmth.
By Wednesday, the heat intensifies with a forecast high near 97 degrees, and the upward trend does not stop there, with Thursday expected to be sunny and hot with temperatures soaring to around 100 degrees ensuring that community members should prepare for scorching conditions and take necessary precautions such as staying hydrated and avoiding strenuous outdoor activities during peak heat hours, yet despite the rising temperatures, the evenings will still provide a reprieve with mostly clear skies and temperatures dipping into the low 60s.
