A grim scenario unfolded on San Antonio's Southwest Side where a man, believed to be in his 30s, suffered a fatal gunshot wound, KTSA News reported. The San Antonio Police Department received the call around 6:30 p.m. yesterday, and upon their arrival to the 2400 block of Southwest Military Drive, they found the victim who was later pronounced dead at a local hospital; the victim's name has yet to be released.
Following the incident, law enforcement officials have launched a manhunt for two individuals, a man and a woman, seen fleeing from the location of the shooting, in which KENS 5 has confirmed the man's subsequent death, the hunt for the suspects remains in full motion as the police are combing through evidence and seeking community assistance.
In their continued efforts, SAPD has labeled the pair as "possible suspects," a term that, while indicative of a connection to the crime, does not offer much in the way of concrete evidence or motive, as other details surrounding the shooting remain scant, this was according to a statement KSAT.com obtained following the incident.
