
San Antonio Police are currently investigating the deaths of two men, believed to be a father and his son, in an apparent murder-suicide on the city's Southeast Side, as calls to service brought officers to the 12200 block of Dewitt Avenue before 8:30 a.m. yesterday, KTSA News reports.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, with investigators piecing together the moments that led to the shooting, they are also working to establish which man was the initial shooter, the victims, one in their early 60s and the other in their early 30s, were found with gunshot wounds at the scene near Whitney Avenue and Blue Wing Road, according to details from KSAT.
While the identities of the deceased have not been officially released SAPD has stated that the discovery was made by a caller yesterday morning, the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office is expected to confirm their identities and determine the precise cause of death.
