According to KENS 5, the collision happened around 8:22 p.m. at the intersection of Union Street and 8th Street, where a 51-year-old man was hit by someone riding a black motorcycle at high speed.
The victim was walking northbound in an alley at the time of the incident. The motorcyclist, who has yet to be identified, reportedly did not stop to offer assistance after striking the pedestrian. As reported by FOX San Antonio, emergency services transported a man to the hospital in stable condition, but with serious bodily injuries from the collision.
Local authorities are currently pursuing leads to locate the motorcyclist, who is facing a charge of Collision Involving Serious Bodily Injury upon apprehension.
