In a case that has gripped Southern California, the parents of 7-month-old Emmanuel Haro have been arrested on suspicion of murder amidst an ongoing investigation into the child's disappearance. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department confirmed the arrests of Jake and Rebecca Haro last Friday as part of an operation at their home in Cabazon, according to KTLA.

Emmanuel was reported missing on August 14, following an incident in a parking lot where his mother claimed to have been attacked and knocked unconscious while changing her baby's diaper. Following initial reports of kidnapping, the focus of law enforcement shifted after noting "inconsistencies" in Rebecca Haro's story, as per FOX LA. An intense investigation ensued, including serving search warrants at the family home and seizing a vehicle belonging to Jake Haro. Despite these efforts, Young Emmanuel remains missing. Details indicate that the mother's cooperation with the investigation had waned over the weekend following the report of the attack.
As the search for Emmanuel continues, a reported sighting in Kern County has been followed up on, but the infant remains unfound. Emmanuel, described as being about 24 inches tall and weighing approximately 21 pounds, was last seen wearing a black Nike onesie, as detailed by KTLA.
