Marin County law enforcement has again demonstrated its resolve in the battle against illegal substance distribution. According to a social media post from the Marin County Sheriff's Office, the Specialized Investigative Unit (SIU) apprehended a suspected narcotics dealer in San Rafael. This arrest culminated in an investigation that began in July and led to the deployment of a search warrant across a person, a residence, and a vehicle tied to the case.

On Tuesday, SIU detectives intercepted the suspect, 30-year-old Kevin Eduardo Reyes, while he was in his vehicle. It was during this encounter that detectives executed the search warrant, unveiling packaged cocaine potentially intended for sale. Further, a search at Reyes' residence in El Sobrante exposed a cache of controlled substances, including suspected MDMA, alprazolam, and ketamine, not to mention a stolen firearm.

As a result of the operation, Reyes finds himself facing multiple felony charges, and he is currently held in the Marin County Jail with bail set at $15,000.
