Sanford Police have apprehended a man following an incident of indecent exposure at a local Dollar General store earlier this month. The man, identified as Robert Eugene Curry III, was arrested yesterday after he allegedly exposed himself to a customer on Aug. 10 at the store located at 3530 Sanford Ave. As reported by ClickOrlando, authorities launched an investigation following the incident, which prompted their initial request for public assistance to identify the suspect.
Further investigations revealed that Curry is a registered sex offender who was on felony state probation at the time of his latest alleged offense. This development has led to additional legal consequences for Curry. “The person is wanted on the charge of Indecent Exposure of Sexual Organs,” police stated in a release obtained by ClickOrlando when they initially sought help from the public.
The arrest of Curry not only addresses the recent indecent exposure charge but also constitutes a violation of his probation. For now, Robert Eugene Curry III remains in custody pending further legal proceedings.
