A Sarver local and elementary school teacher, Jared Lampus, has been charged with a string of serious offenses, which include rape, trafficking, sexual assault, and corruption of minors. According to WPXI, the Pennsylvania State Police apprehended the 50-year-old in Buffalo Township in Butler County.
Having a dual role as a teacher at Buffalo Elementary and a coach with the Pittsburgh Elite Volleyball Association, Lampus' arrest followed allegations that he maintained a sexual relationship with a victim, beginning when she was 16 years old in 2023, extending into 2025. Caught across multiple counties, including Butler, Armstrong, and Allegheny, the involvement fabricated a tapestry of violations that seared through the fabric of these communities. He is currently held at the Butler County Jail.
