Scott Township police are still on the hunt for four suspects following an armed carjacking that took place yesterday afternoon. The incident, which occurred near Greentree Shopping Center on Greentree Road, involved a silver Jaguar sedan with New York license plates being stolen at gunpoint while the car was stopped at a traffic light. WTAE reported the vehicle has since been found in Pittsburgh's Larimer neighborhood.
In broad daylight, the carjacking involved the driver being ordered out of his vehicle by at least four Black men, all of whom were wearing face coverings, as reported by WTAE. A witness at the gym, Mo Jr., described the scene, "Everybody went to the door. And obviously these people get carjacked and we're like, what's going on." The suspects also used a white and black Dodge Durango, which they used for the carjacking.
The investigation is ongoing, and the authorities have yet to make any arrests. The public has been advised to avoid approaching the individuals involved in this incident and to call 911 immediately should they spot any of the suspects, as detailed by WPXI.
