In a series of coordinated actions aimed at curbing the spread of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), the Solano County Sheriff's Office has apprehended three Vallejo residents on various charges. The Sheriff's Office announced the successful execution of two search warrants and the enforcement of a parole compliance check earlier this week.
As detailed in the arrests made on Tuesday, Pavel Babayev and Tracy Zinkovich were taken into custody for the possession and distribution of CSAM. Babayev and Zinkovich, 38 and 57, respectively, now face serious charges after detectives from the Sheriff’s Office Investigations Bureau and the Sheriff’s Enforcement Team (SET) concluded their investigation into the illegal activity. Found in possession of illicit material, both individuals await their fate at the Solano County Jail.
In a separate but related engagement, the Sheriff’s Office conducted a check on the parolee Drake Sherman, 33, who served as a teacher at Rio Vista High School before his November 2024 conviction for CSAM possession. Sherman's parole terms were violated, detailed by the Sheriff's Office, leading to another round of handcuffs and booking into county facilities.
