The Springfield Township Police Department recently hosted its K9 Car Show & Cruise-In Fundraiser to support its K9 program, which relies entirely on fundraising efforts rather than department funds. As the event concluded, the department took to social media to express gratitude to all the participants and supporters who contributed to the fundraiser.
Highlighting the importance of community involvement, the Springfield Township Police Department's Facebook post acknowledged the behind-the-scenes efforts of the K9 officers, trustees, and volunteers who played a pivotal role in the event's success. "Every dollar raised goes directly to supporting our K9 program," the department said, as it praised K9 Officers Jon McKenzie and Sgt. Cody Meade, along with their canine partners, Rex – currently in training – and Ryker, respectively.
