A St. Petersburg man faces serious charges after the Pinellas Sheriff's Office detectives, working in the Crimes Against Children Unit, arrested him for allegedly possessing and sharing child pornography online. Elias David Elias, aged 43, was taken into custody yesterday, following a tip-off that led to an investigation pinpointing him as the individual behind the cyber trail.
The detectives unearthed digital evidence suggesting that Elias possessed and transmitted explicit images involving minors ranging between 2 and 14 years old. According to the information released by the Pinellas Sheriff's Office, Elias did not limit his illegal activities to child imagery but also viewed videos showcasing sexual acts with animals.
Following his arrest, Elias faced multiple charges, including 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography, 10 counts of Transmission of Child Pornography, and 2 counts of Sexual Activity Involving Animals. He was later held at the Pinellas County Jail. Currently, there is no public information regarding Elias' legal representation or any statements from him.
