Sterling who, had previously received a Super Bowl ring from Shannon, followed suit by laying his newly-acquired gold Hall of Fame jacket over his brother's arms. While the honor may have been long overdue, it didn't lose any shine for the elder Sharpe, who was remembered by CBS Sports as potentially the NFL's greatest wide receiver to be overlooked by average football fans. The Green Bay Packers picked Sharpe seventh overall in the 1988 NFL Draft.
