Rayshawn Williams, a 20-year-old from Stockton, pleaded guilty to dealing in illegal firearms, including two counts of possessing machine guns. Between May and July 2024, he sold 10 firearms to a confidential informant, two of which had "switches," according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Williams sold guns on the streets, including two modified Glock pistols, for cash. The case is handled by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, with help from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and Stockton Police Department Crime Gun Intelligence Center, and is part of Operation Take Back America, a program targeting illegal firearms and criminal organizations.

Williams is scheduled for sentencing on December 9, before U.S. District Judge John A. Mendez. He faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 for each machine gun charge. For the illegal firearms trafficking charge, he could face up to five years in prison. The court will decide the final sentence based on federal laws and sentencing guidelines, as stated by the U.S. Attorney's Office.
