Central Oahu residents now have access to expanded healthcare services under one roof following the opening of Straub Benioff Medical Center's new neighborhood clinic at the Town Center of Mililani on Monday. The facility represents the healthcare network's largest neighborhood clinic in Hawaii and consolidates services from two previous locations.
Comprehensive Care in 24,000 Square Feet
The new clinic spans 24,000 square feet and features 55 exam rooms dedicated to pediatrics, family medicine, OB-GYN and dermatology, according to Honolulu Star-Advertiser. The opening ceremony included traditional elements, featuring a lion dance performed by the Wah Ngai Lion Dance Association.
The facility operates Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. by appointment, while urgent care services are available daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with no appointment required. As reported by KHON2, the opening unites two previous locations at the Mililani Shopping Center and Town Center, both of which have now closed and consolidated into the new facility.
Specialized Services and Modern Technology
Beyond primary care, specialists from across Hawaii Pacific Health will utilize flexible spaces to offer sports medicine, rheumatology and endocrinology services, as stated by Honolulu Star-Advertiser. The facility also provides onsite imaging services, including 3D mammograms, and laboratory services for blood tests.
The clinic serves as an outpatient innovation center where the latest technology streamlines processes from appointment scheduling to coordinating screenings. This technological integration aligns with the healthcare system's broader modernization efforts across the islands.
Part of Major Healthcare Campus Expansion
The Mililani opening comes as Straub Benioff undergoes significant transformation through philanthropic support from Marc and Lynne Benioff. The Salesforce founder and his wife have committed substantial funding toward creating what officials describe as a healthcare campus of the future at the main Straub Medical Center in Honolulu. "At Straub Benioff, we are committed to creating healthier communities, and an important part of that is working to ensure families can get the care they need, when they need it, in their neighborhood," Straub Benioff CEO Terence Young told Honolulu Star-Advertiser.
Straub Benioff Medical Center operates as a fully integrated not-for-profit medical center with a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program serving the entire state. The system employs more than 600 physicians across 32 different medical specialties. The new clinic is located at 95-1249 Meheula Parkway Building M at the Town Center of Mililani, providing convenient access for Central Oahu residents who previously needed to visit separate locations for different types of care.
