Seattleites can enjoy a sunny reprieve, as per the National Weather Service's latest forecast for the city. The report, released early this morning, predicts a high of 76 degrees today with calm winds in the afternoon. 

The stretch of pleasant weather continues into the weekend, with temperatures on the rise. Saturday is expected to be moderately warm, reaching a high of around 78 degrees under mostly sunny skies. By Sunday, temperatures are expected to tip slightly higher, reaching the low 80s. "Calm wind becoming north 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon," notes the NWS forecast, making for a breezy, yet balmy end to the weekend.

Those dreading the return of the workweek can take comfort in the steady, clear conditions expected to hold through Monday and Tuesday. Highs on both days are forecast to reach near or above 80 degrees, with mostly clear skies continuing into the nights. By midweek, however, Seattle’s weather takes a milder turn. Wednesday brings a high near 76 with partly cloudy skies, followed by a cooler Thursday, when there's a slight chance of showers and temperatures hovering around 73.
