
Tampa residents can expect a mix of sun and storms this week. The National Weather Service says today will start sunny but could see showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. Highs will reach about 94°F, with the heat index feeling like 105°F.
Tonight, storms are likely before 10 p.m., with temperatures dropping to around 77°F. Wednesday brings a 70% chance of rain, some sunshine, and highs near 93°F. The week will stay warm with on-and-off showers, but Thursday night may see less rain after 11 p.m.
Friday will be hot, near 95°F, with a 40% chance of thunderstorms before 8 a.m. Saturday will also be hot, with a 50% chance of afternoon storms. This pattern of showers and thunderstorms is expected to continue through Monday.
Sunday and Monday each have a 70% chance of rain. Nights will cool to the high 70s, but the week will be anything but calm, with Tampa’s weather swinging between hot sun and sudden storms.
