Last Tuesday, deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to a reported vehicle crash in the 2600 block of FM 1960 Road. Upon arrival, they discovered a collision involving a suspected intoxicated driver, prompting further investigation at the scene.

The driver, identified as Sarah Hendricks, showed clear signs of intoxication, which deputies quickly recognized, according to a social media post from Constable Mark Herman's Office. During the on-scene investigation, Hendricks was observed attempting to swallow a controlled substance while deputies worked to assess the situation and secure the area for safety.

Despite the added challenges, authorities proceeded with a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests on Hendricks, which confirmed their suspicions. As the Constable's office stated, "Sarah Hendricks was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of a Controlled Substance."

Following her arrest, Hendricks appeared before a judge, where her bond was set at $200.00. The case is currently being handled by County Court 15. In addition, Constable Herman’s Office continues to share updates with the public through its official Facebook page and the "C4 NOW" mobile app, which provide live information on crimes and traffic incidents in the area.
