
A teenage boy was rushed to the hospital with a gunshot wound following a shooting incident in East Pittsburgh last night. According to WPXI, Allegheny County dispatchers received a call at 7:06 p.m., leading authorities to the 500 block of Main Street. Upon arrival, they discovered the young victim with an injury to his leg.
WTAE reported that the teen was found with gunshot wounds to his legs and was last reported to be in stable condition after being transported for medical care. Initial findings by the Allegheny County Police suggest that the shooter was targeting a house when the teenager, who was outside at the time, was inadvertently struck.
Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, and no arrests have been made at this point.
