
On Friday afternoon, Texas City High School went into lockdown after a reported threat. The lockdown started at 2:33 p.m., and everyone in the school was confirmed safe as the investigation began. Texas City Emergency Management asked parents and community members not to go to the school, according to KHOU.
Officials said the specifics of the threat were not released, but they believe it may not be credible. Still, multiple law enforcement agencies were sent to search the school.
