Last Sunday, a burglary was reported at a local business known as Power Tools, situated at 2099 Thomas Street. Memphis Police Department officers arrived at the scene following the breach, which occurred at approximately 1:15 a.m., according to their press release. Thieves reportedly sawed their way through the rear door of the establishment, promptly triggering the alarm system which then apparently scared them off before they could claim any loot.
Although nothing was stolen during the attempted theft, the break-in left the business owner dealing with property damage. Officers responded quickly, but the suspects had already fled Power Tools, leaving behind only evidence of forced entry. Surveillance cameras captured the suspects and their vehicles, and the Memphis Police Department has released the images.
