Two women were apprehended by deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office after being caught with stolen merchandise at the Houston Premium Outlet Mall. The incident, which occurred last Monday, involved suspects Ta'Keyla Neal and Keisandra Davis, who were reported to have lifted clothing items from the Tommy Hilfiger store and subsequently attempted to evade capture.
Racing against the clock, deputies swiftly arrived on scene, spotted the duo in the parking lot, and upon searching, discovered over $600 in pilfered apparel taken from both Tommy Hilfiger and Old Navy. Notably, an identification card belonging to another individual was found on Davis, interweaving threads of identity fraud into the narrative of the shoplifting spree, as reported by Constable Mark Herman's Office.
In the aftermath, "Ta'Keyla Neal and Keisandra Davis were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Theft," according to the Constable's quote from the official Facebook page. Neal's bond was set at $500 by County Court 15, setting the stage for the legal proceedings to come. Davis not only faced the theft charge but was also slapped with Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information, which saw her bond spike to a steeper $10,100.00, reflecting the seriousness of the additional allegations against her.
