
Authorities in Brighton are currently searching for Aaliyah Heredia, a 14-year-old Hispanic female who has been reported missing and is considered endangered. The Brighton Police Department has made an urgent appeal to the public for help in locating the young teen. She was last seen on Friday evening, around 7:20 pm, near 300 Grey Rock Street in Brighton, Colorado. A distinctive feature to look out for is a butterfly tattoo located on her right hand.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation took to social media to spread the word about Heredia's disappearance. In an urgent post shared on their official Twitter account, it reads, "Endangered Missing Alert - Brighton PD - Aaliyah Heredia, 14 yoa, Hispanic female, last seen August 22, 2025, at 7:20 pm in the area of 300 Grey Rock Street in Brighton, CO. She has a butterfly tattoo on her right hand." The community and wider public are asked to remain vigilant and report any sightings or information they might have to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation or directly to the Brighton Police Department at 303-287-7453.
The Brighton PD has not yet released additional details about the circumstances surrounding Heredia's disappearance.
