
Vallejo has been struck by its ninth homicide of the year, according to the Vallejo Police Department. On Monday, officers were called to a scene in the 100 block of O’Brien Circle, where they discovered an unresponsive male inside a residence. The Vallejo Fire Department, which first responded at approximately 2:25 PM, later confirmed the individual was dead upon their arrival. A social media post from the Vallejo Police Department indicated that the male victim had injuries indicative of blunt force trauma.
The Vallejo Police Department's Detective Divisions have taken the reins to investigate the situation in depth. Although details are sparse, the department is treating the case as a homicide. The victim's identity remains undisclosed as officials are yet to notify the next of kin, a protocol observed by the Solano County Coroner’s Office.
