The Wake Forest Police Department will hold its “Touch-A-Truck” fundraiser this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Factory. The event will feature a variety of service and military vehicles for attendees to see, touch, and explore.

Priced at $5 for individuals and $20 per family, no matter the size, admission fees will go directly to support Special Olympics NC. It's an opportunity not only for your kids to climb into the driver's seat of a fire truck or get up close with a helicopter but to also support athletes who overcome challenges every day.

During the event, according to Wake Forest's official announcement, Wake Forest Police officers will also sell 2025 Special Olympics NC Torch Run T-shirts for $25. And if you're hungry, you'll find more than just vehicles on display. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be up for grabs for those looking to snack for a good cause.

Two Roosters Ice Cream will also be at the event, offering a variety of flavors. The fundraiser will take place Saturday at The Factory, 1839 S. Main St., and will support Special Olympics athletes in the community.
