
The quest for justice in a fatal hit-and-run on Interstate 5 continues, with the Washington State Patrol reaching out to the public for help. The incident, which occurred on the night of July 30, claimed the life of a pedestrian, leaving authorities to piece together the events that led to this tragedy. A white pickup truck, involved in the deadly accident, left the scene without stopping, and its driver remains unidentified. The WSP has now officially requested assistance to track down the individual responsible for this unfortunate event.
The accident took place on a Wednesday, around 9:00 p.m., just north of Sleater Kinney Road in Olympia's southbound lanes. According to the Washington State Patrol's report, a pedestrian was found in one of the two center lanes before being fatally hit by the truck. Despite the swift response and efforts of the first responders, the pedestrian was declared dead at the scene, prompting an ongoing investigation and search for witnesses.
The WSP has not released the identity of the victim as the investigation continues. They urge anyone with information about the white pickup truck or its driver to come forward.
