The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department recently concluded its annual Badges 'N Buddies Picnic, a program that connects deputies with local youth through outdoor activities. According to a Facebook post from the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department, this year’s event included fishing on Pewaukee Lake, along with past outings such as archery and bowling.
The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department thanked participants for their involvement and highlighted the support of local businesses and organizations that made the program possible. Sponsors included A.L. Schutzman Company, Battle House, Biggby Coffee, Shawtown Welding, Sussex Bowl, and others who provided financial support and resources.
The Badges 'N Buddies program continues to give deputies and youth opportunities to interact outside of traditional law enforcement settings.
