The Germantown Police Department (GPD) has reported many criminal activities and incidents across the city from August 8 to August 14. The details of these occurrences, ranging from threatening behavior to property theft, were made public in a recent press release on the city's official website, according to the Germantown city news page.

Activities began on August 8 with a report of threatening behavior on the 8000 block of Wolf River Boulevard. The following day was marked by a physical altercation between two subjects at a residence on the 6500 block of Poplar Woods Circle South. Various scams were also reported, including a telephone scam on Old Mill Road and multiple incidents of merchandise theft, one involving three subjects at Farmington Boulevard and another on Poplar Avenue.

Threatening behavior continued to be a concern with additional reports emerging from Poplar Woods Circle East and Scruggs Drive on August 10. Property-related crimes persisted throughout the week, with Monday seeing an incident of theft from a business on West Farmington Boulevard, and the following day, various threats were reported via social media and text messages, with one arrest made for aggression in an altercation on Burfordi Lane.

Wednesday provided a brief reprieve, with no crimes reported. However, the peace was short-lived, as Thursday saw a series of criminal activities, including narcotics possession on Kirby Parkway, multiple vehicle thefts, online and telephone scams, and property damage—culminating in a total of 23 crashes reported during the entire week-long period.

The GPD has encouraged residents to remain vigilant, report any suspicious activities, and safeguard their personal belongings and information. Germantown's official news release has the full report detailing all activities for those interested in more detailed information on the incidents and safety recommendations provided by local law enforcement.
