
The city of Milwaukee is grappling with a series of violent incidents after a weekend marred by shootings that left one person dead and two others injured, including a teenager, authorities report.
In a sequence of events that has rattled the community, the Milwaukee Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 36-year-old that occurred late Friday evening, according to CBS 58, near W. Roosevelt Dr. and W. Fond Du Lac Ave., police have yet to make an arrest in connection with the killing and are actively seeking information suspects possibly connected to the crime and although no arrests have been made, anyone with information is being urged to come forward.
Earlier that Saturday, as detailed by FOX 6 News, a 17-year-old was shot shortly before 2 a.m. and was subsequently taken to a hospital for treatment. The condition of the teen is currently unknown, and the police are still trying to ascertain what exactly led to the shooting.
Another shooting incident on the same day around 6:30 p.m. at 27th and Ruby left a 36-year-old wounded, while a 22-year-old was tragically shot at approximately 9:28 p.m. at 61st and Congress and later pronounced dead at a local hospital, The Milwaukee Police are now piecing together the circumstances of these separate incidents in a bid to capture those responsible, for which they have called upon the public’s assistance to provide any pertinent information that might lead to the resolution of these unsettling events.
