Residents of east central, south central, and southeast Wisconsin can expect mild and mostly sunny conditions to end the week. Highs will reach near 80 degrees with light southwest winds. A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms is expected mainly after 5 a.m. Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
Saturday may begin with a slight chance of early morning storms before clearing to a sunny afternoon with a high near 72 degrees. Saturday night will be mostly clear with a low around 57 degrees. Sunday is forecast to remain sunny with similar temperatures. The National Weather Service noted that no hazardous weather is expected at this time.
A Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued for the region, highlighting fog as the primary concern. Dense patches developed early Friday in low-lying areas and river valleys and may affect morning travel. Spotter activation will not be needed in the coming days.
Through the week, conditions are expected to stay consistent with highs in the low to mid-70s, mostly clear nights, and lows in the 50s.
