The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has made a significant arrest in a recent homicide case. Amber Shinice Dozier, aged 32, was apprehended last Saturday in Alachua County. She faces charges of second-degree murder with a firearm, stemming from the shooting death of Javore Tyleek Bentley, also 32 years old. The fatal shooting incident took place on August 2 near the 4100 block of South Orange Blossom Trail, as noted in a report by ClickOrlando.
In a brief statement, officials said that Dozier's return to Orange County is pending, with no clear timeline available at present. The motive behind the shooting has not been disclosed, leaving questions about what led to the tragic event. WFTV reports that Dozier was taken into custody on an Orange County warrant, but it is not known when she might be returned to face the implications of her alleged actions.
Bentley was discovered critically wounded earlier this month and was rushed to a hospital. Despite efforts to save his life, he succumbed to his injuries. The precise circumstances around the shooting remain under investigation, and authorities have been tight-lipped about any further details surrounding the case.
