A violent dispute on Autumn Springs Lane was abruptly disrupted by the timely intervention of law enforcement this past Saturday. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office were summoned to a scene where they found and assisted a wounded woman following a harrowing confrontation gone awry. The victim, suffering from a gunshot injury, was gravely in need of aid when authorities arrived.
According to the official Facebook post by Precinct 4, the deputies were quick to provide essential life-saving support until EMS could take over and rush the victim to further care. The incident began as a verbal altercation within the home and quickly escalated when the male suspect, now identified as Jalen Wilson, left the residence to arm himself. He returned, discharging his weapon multiple times, leaving the woman injured by one of the shots. The constables, acting swiftly, apprehended Wilson a short distance away from where the incident occurred.
"Jalen Wilson was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. His bond was set at $4,000.00 out of the 180th District Court," stated Constable Mark Herman, as reported by the Precinct 4 Facebook page.
