A woman was killed in a crash yesterday morning at the intersection of Hunt Highway and Bella Vista Road in San Tan Valley. The collision involved an SUV and a white pickup truck.
The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office reported that the crash happened around 9:30 a.m. The woman’s name has not been released. The driver of the second vehicle was not seriously injured., according to FOX 10 Phoenix.
Footage from Arizona’s Family news chopper showed severe front-end damage to both vehicles, with the pickup truck appearing to have t-boned a Jeep Compass. The intersection was closed during the investigation and reopened around 2 p.m.
The Sheriff’s Office said the investigation is ongoing and has not released further details.
