
A 26-year-old man, Kenneth Earle, was fatally injured in a vehicle collision earlier this week in south Charlotte, as per reports from local authorities. According to WBTV, the incident occurred on Tuesday, around 4:50 p.m., on Pineville-Matthews Road near Park Cedar Drive.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department informed that upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a heavily damaged Nissan Xterra and a Honda Civic. The driver of the Nissan sustained minor injuries. Regrettably, MEDIC pronounced Earle, the driver of the Honda, dead at the locale, as conveyed by WCNC. It was reported that Earle allegedly drove his vehicle into the left lane and into oncoming traffic to eventually collide with the Nissan.
The ongoing investigation is looking to uncover why Earle's vehicle veered off, as yet no clear cause has been established.
