
On Sunday, the Dallas Police Department responded to a shooting in the Jeffries Street neighborhood. Upon arrival at the 1800 block, a man was discovered with gunshot wounds. The victim, whose identity is yet to be released pending the Dallas County Medical Examiner's assistance, was rushed to a local hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
The Dallas Police, in their commitment to transparency, have disclosed the arrest of a suspect in connection with the incident. Charles Reeder, the 66-year-old accused of the shooting, now faces murder charges and is currently housed in Dallas County Jail, as confirmed by the Dallas Police Department.
