An 83-year-old man has died following a house fire in Osnaburg Township, Stark County. FOX8 News reports that the fire crews arrived at the scene in the 2700 block of Sunlight Avenue NE last night to find the elderly man. He was taken urgently to Aultman Hospital, where his death was later confirmed.
Rushed to the hospital after he was found inside the home, no one else was found in the residence at the time of the incident. The Stark County Sheriff's Office stated that the fire is currently under investigation but is not being treated as suspicious, as outlined in a release covered by Cleveland19 News.
Firefighters and deputies from the Osnaburg Township Fire Department responded to the emergency. The Stark County Sheriff's Office added that upon their arrival, they located the man who needed immediate medical attention.
