Hunter Valverde, known as the "Adult Toy Bandit," is now facing additional legal trouble after a felony retaliation charge was added to his record. Valverde was arrested on August 14 by deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office in connection with a theft case. With a missed court appearance also on record, Valverde is now actively wanted by law enforcement, and the case has escalated.
Although Valverde has had previous encounters with law enforcement, his decision to confront those involved in his arrest has further complicated his legal situation. According to a social media post from Constable Mark Herman’s Office, Valverde allegedly directed threats toward the employees of Planet Ford, the same business that had cooperated with authorities during his arrest. A new warrant has now been issued, adding a charge of retaliation, a third-degree felony, to the existing theft charge.
This recent development has prompted local authorities to seek the community’s assistance. "Hunter Valverde continues to show disregard for the law by not only stealing but also threatening those who held him accountable," as stated in the department's post. "If you have any information on his whereabouts, contact our dispatch or your local law enforcement immediately." Authorities continue to urge anyone with relevant information to come forward.
The Constable's Office is encouraging residents to use the "C4 NOW" mobile app to access real-time updates on crime, arrests, and traffic incidents in their area, as part of efforts to increase access to local public safety information.
