Alhambra police encountered an unusual obstruction this week when they responded to a report of a vehicle idling in the middle of Third St. and Mission Rd. Inside, officers found two men, unconscious and at peace, oblivious to the disruption their stationary vehicle was causing. According to the Alhambra Police Department, they were able to rouse the driver, who was exhibiting undeniable signs of intoxication.
The situation took a comedic turn when the detained driver, now identified as Christian Ceja of Alhambra, seemingly tried to nonchalantly exit the scene. He was promptly arrested and now faces the harsh reality of a DUI charge. As the Alhambra Police Department noted in their post: "This isn’t Monopoly."
