Arizonans have a fresh opportunity to shape the services that touch the lives of their youngest residents with individual needs. The Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP) is currently opening the floor for public comments on revisions to its procedure for maintaining documentation in a child’s early intervention record. The notice, released on September 15, announces a one-month period where feedback from the community will be considered in the procedure update.
According to the announcement published on AzEIP's website, comments can be submitted through various mediums. Starting from September 15, until October 17, 2025, perspectives can be submitted via an online form. Those who lack online access can still have their voices heard by mailing or faxing their thoughts directly to the Arizona Early Intervention Program's office or by sending an email to [email protected]. Seeking to be inclusive, proposing not to include any confidential or inappropriate information for public disclosure, AzEIP invites the community's input.
Adding to AzEIP’s inclusive approach, the public will have the chance to attend a virtual event scheduled on the last day of the comment period. The hearing is planned on Friday, October 17, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Arizona time. Open to all, the hearing can be accessed through Google Meet, and those preferring to dial in can do so using the provided phone number and PIN.
