Arlington's special events parking rules at AT&T Stadium are in full swing for the 2025 season. As reported by the City of Arlington, the Arlington City Council's ordinance is set to protect local neighborhoods from the chaos of game-day traffic and parking pandemonium. Parking restrictions are specifically picked to be in place during Cowboys home games and other high-profile events at the stadium.

The Arlington Police Department is gearing up to actively enforce no parking strictly on residential streets adjacent to the stadium during certain events. This has been a concerted effort to effortlessly ensure that the quality of life for residents isn’t compromised when up to 100,000 fans descend upon the area. Cowboys home games on the calendar include matches against the New York Giants, Green Bay Packers, Washington Commanders, and others, spanning from September 14 to December 21.

Other major events will have similar parking restrictions, like the MexTour match between Mexico and Colombia on October 11, and the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic on the last day of the year. Notifications about the no-parking enactments are expected to be emailed up to seven days in advance, giving both residents and visitors ample warning to make alternative arrangements.

No Parking Zones will be clearly marked with folding signs that are flipped open during events. Located in the Stadium West, Roosevelt, and Woodbrook zones, these areas will be off-limits for on-street parking. Cars found in violation are at risk of getting towed or fined. Exceptions do exist for vehicles needing to temporarily stop for deliveries or services within the zones, but other than that, consider these streets strictly a no-go.

Those living in the Entertainment District No Parking Zones are encouraged to sign up for email alerts from the Arlington Police Department to stay informed about event-specific parking rules. For those with questions or in need of clarification, contacting the Special Events Unit at [email protected] or calling (817) 459-5779 should put you through to the folks with answers.
