The fun won't stop in Arlington as the city's Parks and Recreation department has just announced an extension of summer joys with its three free splash pads. In what seems to be an act of community grace, these watery playgrounds offer a refreshing retreat from the scorching Texas heat.
According to their social media post, Arlington Parks and Recreation relayed a reminder that families can take advantage of these splash pads every weekend. In the hustle of seasons shifting, this serves as a welcome pause, allowing kids and parents alike to soak in the remnants of summer on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10 AM to 8 PM, until the calendar bids September farewell.
Those looking to dip their toes into this opportunity will find the splash pads located strategically across Arlington. Brantley Hinshaw Park, at 2121 Overbrook Dr, 76014, beckons with its sprays and fountains. California Lane Park, nestled at 2001 California Lane, 76015, invites patrons with its playful water features. Finally, Don Misenhimer Park, positioned at 201 E Lonesome Dove Tr, 76002, completes the trio with its own unique water escapades.
