The Euless Police Department, in coordination with the Fort Worth Police Department, has reportedly made an arrest in connection with a homicide case that sprang open earlier this week. The arrest, related to a shooting incident that occurred in a business parking lot on the 1500 block of W. Euless Blvd, was made last Friday, as noted by a social media post from the Euless Police Department. Following the initial report of the shooting on September 1st, law enforcement found an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds, who was later pronounced dead after transport to a local hospital by Euless Fire Department personnel.
On the night of the shooting, Euless PD officers discovered the aftermath of what appeared to be a conflict between several groups, with multiple individuals tangled in a violent altercation outside the business. A 31-year-old man, struck by gunfire, did not survive. Having fled the scene after the shooting, the perpetrator eluded capture until the recent arrest. Two others, sustaining injuries amidst the mayhem, were also hospitalized, according to the Euless Police Department's statement.
While the suspect remains in custody, the Euless Police Department has indicated its intention to provide further information once the investigation reaches its conclusion. Public Information Officer T. Killman, under whose name the updates have been disseminated, confirmed that "The investigation is still ongoing," and that the department will release more information "upon completion of the investigation."
