A fatal hit-and-run accident has claimed the life of a male pedestrian in northwest Bexar County, prompting an ongoing investigation by local authorities. According to KSAT, the incident involved a Toyota Tundra and occurred around 1 a.m. on Sunday in the 19900 block of State Highway 16 southbound.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office has now begun to openly seek tips from the public to help swiftly locate the involved vehicle, described as a white Toyota Tundra from model years 2018-2021. This truck reportedly has sustained significant damage to its front right side. The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office has urged anyone with information about the crash to "contact [email protected] or Traffic Homicide Unit investigator Treadwell at 210-335-6070," as noted in a statement obtained by KSAT. The case number to reference is 2025-BCSO-021456.
Details about the victim, including name and age, are currently pending release from the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office. The Sheriff's Office has released a stock photograph of the model truck they are seeking, hoping to assist the public in identifying the vehicle.
