According to a media advisory issued by the Baltimore Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 6:22 p.m. to investigate a report of gunfire. Arriving at the scene, a 19-year-old male was found, bearing the marks of violence—a gunshot wound that spoke to a story all too common in our urban tapestry.
Having sustained injuries from the gunshot, the unnamed victim's night ended not with the liberty of return to his home but in the rush to hospital walls, where he was listed in stable condition.
