Dayton, who stands 5'9" and weighs 138 pounds, left his home with a blue Nike backpack emblazoned with a red Nike symbol and a change of clothes. The sheriff's office indicated that while he does not have a cell phone on his person, he does possess a school-issued Chromebook.
