Bradenton police have launched a homicide investigation after a woman was found dead at a crash scene. According to WFLA, the victim was discovered with injuries not typical of a traffic accident. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. yesterday on the 2100 block of 8th Avenue East.
Officers responding to the crash found a middle-aged woman with extensive injuries and pronounced her dead at the scene, Tampa Bay reports. Detectives from the Bradenton Police Department and the Manatee Homicide Investigation Unit are leading the inquiry.
