
The NYPD is on the lookout for a man responsible for a violent assault on an elderly individual in Brooklyn earlier this month. The incident, which left a 74-year-old man with a broken rib and facial lacerations, occurred on September 1 at about 7:00 a.m. in front of 57 Mill Street. The suspect, who remains unidentified, reportedly shoved the elderly man to the ground, resulting in his injuries.
According to a social media post by NYPD Crimestoppers, the incident was unprovoked, and the authorities are seeking the public's assistance in identifying and apprehending the assailant.
As the investigation continues, NYPD's Crime Stoppers unit has urged anyone with information to come forward. They have opened multiple channels for tips, which include calling the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). For Spanish speakers, the number is 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
